Your choice comes first.
Advertising storage waits for your permission. You can read about custom steel work near Austin or send a commercial shelving enquiry while optional storage stays denied. This notice explains what the browser keeps and where to change your choice.
1. Necessary storage is not advertising permission.
Cookies are small records stored by a browser. Local storage holds records in a different browser store, without automatically sending each record with every page request. This notice covers both, along with the click identifiers attached to advertising links. The distinction matters: an identifier in a URL is not itself a cookie.
Strictly necessary
The browser remembers your consent decision so the site can respect it on the next page. When you use support chat, a conversation token lets the widget reconnect to that conversation. These records support a choice you made or a service you requested. They are not permission to build an advertising audience.
Analytics
Analytics storage supports measurement of how people use the site and whether an advertising visit leads to an enquiry. It is optional. The analytics storage signal remains denied until you choose Allow; reading the workshop pages or scrolling to a form does not change it.
Advertising
Advertising storage supports attribution and advertising measurement for paid traffic. Separate consent signals govern advertising user data and personalization. The site asks for a choice before allowing those signals; submitting dimensions for a steel frame is not a substitute for that choice.
No account is created here. Zunbik does not collect passwords, payment details or card data through this site. The enquiry record is separate from the browser storage described below.
2. The storage record distinguishes keys from click IDs.
The consent key below is the site's only persistent preference record. The chat token serves a different job: reconnecting a conversation. Click IDs are listed because they can arrive with a page address, not because each name is a cookie set by Zunbik. Platform-controlled records follow the platform policies linked further down.

Clearing browser storage removes local records; it does not erase a message already sent. Enquiries and their email copies are retained for 24 months. Chat transcripts are retained for 12 months, and server and access logs for 30 days. The hosting provider stores the enquiry database and the mail provider carries notifications to the operator's inbox.
For an enquiry, the server records the fields you send and technical context, including IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL and the times the form was rendered and sent. Those records are described in the privacy notice; they are not additional browser preference keys.
3. Paid clicks carry a source identifier.
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send traffic to zunbik.com. A visitor searching for custom steel work near Austin can arrive through a paid link with a click identifier attached. The identifier connects the visit to an advertising click; it is not a measurement of a shelf or an instruction to start fabrication.
- Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC: Google Ads uses gclid and receives the consent signals. References to google ads in this notice mean that advertising service.
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd: Microsoft Advertising attaches msclkid. Microsoft handles its own advertising data under its privacy statement.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd: Meta Ads attaches fbclid to clicks from campaigns running there.
A click ID can be present in the page address before you make a storage choice. Its presence does not turn on optional storage. Your choice controls the site's consent signals, while the advertising platform separately holds information about the click made on its service.
The site does not treat the act of making a commercial shelving enquiry as permission for advertising personalization. Contact consent is for handling that enquiry. Cookie consent has its own controls.
4. Four signals start denied.
Consent Mode v2 holds ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage denied until you allow storage. It sets all four back to denied the moment you decline or withdraw. The consent mode state is not inferred from continued browsing.

Denied storage does not mean the internet connection is invisible. Serving a page requires a request, and consent signals can be communicated without optional browser storage. A denied signal must not be read as a promise that no tag loads or that no technical request reaches a service.
Global Privacy Control, including the Sec-GPC header, is honoured as an opt-out without asking again. It keeps the optional consent state denied. This is separate from the necessary record that remembers a declined choice.
5. Allow is a choice, not an entry ticket.
Choose Allow in the cookie banner to permit optional advertising and analytics storage and the related signals. Choose Decline to leave them denied. Neither option changes the workshop's willingness to discuss your brief. The banner does not require consent before you can read a service page.
To change or withdraw consent afterwards, select Cookie choices in the footer of any page, or use the button below. The banner reopens. Select Decline to withdraw a previous Allow, or Allow to give a new permission when no privacy opt-out signal applies. The browser records the latest decision under site_consent_v2.
Choices belong to this browser. A different browser or device needs its own decision. Clearing site storage also clears the remembered choice.
Without a usable saved choice, optional signals return to denied. If browser settings or disabled scripting prevent the controls from working, use the contact details below rather than assuming Allow has been recorded.
Withdrawal changes future processing under these signals. It does not reverse an advertising click already made or erase a submitted enquiry. For a request about stored personal information, use the data-request instructions. A data request is answered within 10 days.
6. Declining leaves the workshop routes open.
You can still read the steel fabrication services, check the enquiry process and use the steel load sizing tool. The contact form remains available. Support chat can keep the necessary conversation token when you choose to start a chat.
Optional advertising and analytics storage stops being permitted. Advertising user-data and personalization signals return to denied as well. The necessary consent record remains so the site remembers the refusal rather than repeatedly treating it as a missing answer.
Decline does not remove parameters from a URL already in your browser history, and it does not delete records held by a platform about your earlier click. Browser controls can clear local site data. Deletion of an enquiry or chat record is handled separately through the privacy contact route.

7. Platforms publish their own handling rules.
Zunbik controls its enquiry handling and site consent choice. The advertising providers also process data through their own services. Their notices explain platform retention and the settings available for activity held outside this site.
These links leave zunbik.com. A site-level withdrawal does not change an advertising account setting you maintain directly with Google, Microsoft or Meta. Use that provider's privacy controls for its separate records.
US state privacy law applies, including California's CCPA/CPRA and other state laws in force. The privacy notice also explains the GDPR sections for visitors from Europe. You may complain to your state Attorney General or, in California, the California Privacy Protection Agency.
8. Ask about a key you do not recognise.
Contact Zunbik, trading at zunbik.com. Give the cookie or storage key name, the page where you noticed it and whether you had chosen Allow or Decline. The key name is useful; its complete value usually is not. Do not email a live chat token or another private identifier.
