Site terms / written scope first
An enquiry is not an order to cut steel.
These terms cover the Zunbik website and the starting point for custom steel work near Austin. A commercial shelving enquiry opens a discussion. A steel load sizing result helps describe a brief. Neither commits you or the workshop to a price, a fabrication slot or a load rating.
Your enquiry goes to Zunbik.
These site terms are with Zunbik, trading at zunbik.com, in Austin, Texas, United States.
Zunbik describes compact steel fabrication for homes, studios, shops and small workspaces. The site is a direct contact route for discussing that work. It is not a marketplace for third-party sellers, a booking intermediary or an online store.
83 Station Road, Werkstatt 2, Austin, Texas 88799, Austin, Texas, United StatesWrite to [email protected] or call +1 (228) 555-2923. These are also the contact routes for questions about a term before you send a brief. The about page explains the workshop's working principles without changing the agreement described here.
Use this website on the basis of these terms. A later agreement for physical work is separate and must identify the work being accepted. A website heading, an advertising link or a message receipt does not replace that agreement.
The site describes work that still needs checking.
Service pages explain possible scopes; they do not certify a site condition or authorize an installation.
The services directory covers measured steel shelving, compact workspace fixtures, small steel frames, and repair or alteration of existing steel pieces. Each enquiry is reviewed against its intended use. A shelf fixed to a wall is not the same brief as an open frame carrying a surface, even when their outer dimensions match.
Service descriptions are not structural engineering advice. Zunbik does not offer an unlimited load promise, structural certification or a fixed turnaround through this website. A photograph cannot establish the strength of an unseen fixing point. If the wall or existing piece is uncertain, that uncertainty must be resolved before the related work can be agreed.
- Provided by the website
- Service information, a planning calculator and routes for sending a question or proposed brief to the workshop.
- Requires a separate agreement
- The final dimensions and materials, any fixing or installation work, the price and the timing for an accepted job.
For steel fixture repair in Austin, the condition of the existing piece controls the assessment. An initial description does not promise that a corroded bracket or altered joint can be repaired. The workshop can refuse a scope where the condition cannot be established or the proposed use is unsuitable.
Do not take a service photograph as a dimensioned drawing or a tested specification. Refer to the relevant page for measured shelving, workspace fixtures or small steel frames, then ask about the actual conditions of your job.
Written acceptance comes after review.
Nothing is sold or paid for on this site, and sending a form does not place an order.
There is no cart, checkout or payment collection. A commercial shelving enquiry is a request to discuss a possible job. The same applies to a chat message, an email or a request about a frame. A form receipt confirms receipt of information only; it does not reserve workshop time or accept the proposed specification.
An enquiry becomes an order only after the workshop has reviewed it, both parties have agreed a written scope and the workshop has confirmed acceptance of the order. The written agreement must make the work and price clear, including any conditions that remain to be met. Silence is not acceptance.
- Send the dimensions you have and explain what the piece must do. Identify assumptions rather than presenting a rough measurement as confirmed.
- The workshop reviews the brief and asks about unresolved dimensions or conditions. Further inspection can be needed before a scope is ready.
- A written scope sets out the proposed work and price basis for discussion. Check it against your actual use and ask about any omission.
- Proceed only when the final scope and order acceptance are confirmed in writing. Any agreed timing belongs to that record, not to this website.
Any monetary figure described on the site is an estimate, not a binding quote. Calculator figures are planning outputs, not prices or approved capacities. Do not purchase fixings, remove an existing support or schedule other trades on the assumption that an enquiry has already been accepted.
You are responsible for providing information you are entitled to share and for pointing out known errors before work is agreed. If a later measurement changes the brief, tell the workshop. The process page explains the review path in more detail.
The price follows the reviewed scope.
Prices are discussed in USD and depend on the specific piece, its conditions and the work agreed in writing.
This site does not publish a binding price or collect a payment. Sending an enquiry is not an agreement to a fabrication charge. Any proposed paid assessment or physical work must be explained and agreed separately before it starts; these site terms do not silently authorize it.
- Measured shelving
- Reviewed dimensions, material, finish, fixing conditions, and fabrication time.
- Workspace fixtures
- Footprint, steel section, surface or accessory requirements, and installation conditions.
- Small steel frames
- Frame geometry, section size, joint method, finish, and required fixing.
- Repair and alteration
- Inspection information, access, replacement material, and alteration time.
A revised span can change the steel section or joint arrangement. A different finish changes the finishing work. Hidden corrosion or an unsuitable fixing surface can make the original repair or installation proposal unworkable. These are reasons to review the scope and price, not reasons to treat the earlier discussion as an unlimited commitment.
Any change to an accepted scope needs written agreement on its effect before the changed work proceeds. The job-specific agreement should state what the price includes and address applicable tax, delivery or installation charges where relevant. No free installation, delivery inclusion or cancellation fee is created by this page.
Use the contact routes for genuine work questions.
You may browse and make legitimate enquiries, but not misuse the site or another person's information.
Provide contact details that belong to you or that you have permission to use for the enquiry. Do not impersonate a customer or submit a person's private information without authority. Dimensions and the intended use of a steel piece are useful; passwords, card details and sensitive personal documents are not requested.
- Do not send unlawful, threatening or abusive messages through the form or chat.
- Do not submit malware, probe for unauthorized access or interfere with the site and its storage.
- Do not flood the contact routes with automated submissions or attempt to bypass anti-abuse checks.
- Do not copy site content to misrepresent your relationship with Zunbik or advertise another business as this workshop.
Technical limits on a form or message are not permission to submit harmful content within those limits. Equally, a validation error is not a refusal to discuss a legitimate job. Correct the field or contact the workshop by email or phone if the website route fails.
The privacy notice explains the handling of enquiry details and technical records. The consent tick on an enquiry permits handling that enquiry; it does not grant advertising consent. Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send traffic here with gclid, msclkid and fbclid click identifiers. Their storage choices are explained in the cookie statement, including the Microsoft privacy statement.
Consent Mode v2 holds ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage denied until you allow storage, and sets them back to denied when you decline or withdraw. Global Privacy Control, including Sec-GPC, is honoured as an opt-out without asking again. Using this site does not override those choices.
Viewing the work does not transfer the rights.
The site's text, photographs and marks belong to Zunbik or their respective rights holders.
You may view these pages and keep a copy for considering a genuine enquiry, subject to any rights that applicable law gives you. You may link to a public page without implying sponsorship or an association that does not exist. These permissions do not transfer ownership of the content or the Zunbik marks.
Do not republish photographs as your own work, remove ownership notices or reuse the site's identity to suggest that another service is operated by Zunbik. Commercial reproduction or adaptation requires permission from the relevant rights holder unless the law permits the use without it.
A drawing or specification you submit remains subject to its existing ownership. You authorize Zunbik to use the submitted material to assess and respond to your enquiry. Do not send another maker's protected drawing with instructions to reproduce it unless you have the necessary authority.
Rights in a drawing or design prepared for an agreed fabrication job must be addressed in that job's written agreement. Receiving an initial discussion or scope does not, by itself, give either party every right in the other party's materials.
A planning figure is not a load rating.
The site and its planning information are provided as is; no guarantee is made beyond a written scope agreed after review, subject to rights that law preserves.
To the extent permitted by law, Zunbik does not warrant that the website is always available, free from error or suitable as the sole basis for a fabrication or installation decision. Its information explains the service, not the strength of a particular wall or the condition of an existing joint.
Steel load sizing is a screening calculation.
The calculator converts span and depth from millimetres to metres, multiplies them to get area, then divides intended load by that area. It rounds the result to the nearest whole kilogram per square metre. That is a description of load per area. It is not an allowable load.
Area = (span / 1000) × (depth / 1000)Planning figure = intended load / area
Material thickness is part of the information used to frame an enquiry; it does not enter that formula. Changing thickness alone does not prove the piece stronger. The calculator does not model deflection, joint strength, fixing pull-out or the distribution of a concentrated load. It does not provide structural certification.
A physical job needs its own warranty position.
No fixed warranty period, lifetime guarantee or performance promise is offered by this website. Any express warranty and the procedure for raising a defect must be stated in the written agreement for the work. Nothing here removes a warranty or consumer remedy that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.
Do not keep using a piece that appears unsafe while waiting for a website answer. Contact the workshop about the affected work and describe the change in condition. A web response cannot certify that continued loading is safe, and a photograph alone cannot settle the matter.
Site information has a limited role.
To the extent permitted by law, liability for website use is limited to direct loss caused by a breach of a legal duty owed to you.
To the extent the law permits, Zunbik is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website, including lost profit, lost business opportunity or costs caused by treating a planning output as an approved specification. No contractual liability cap for fabrication work is set by this page; an accepted job has its own agreement.
These limitations do not exclude fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. They do not remove non-waivable consumer rights or statutory remedies. If applicable law does not allow a particular exclusion, that exclusion does not apply to the extent prohibited.
You should not rely on access to a page, a calculator result or an unanswered message as confirmation that a structure is safe. That caution does not shift responsibility for Zunbik's own legal duties to you. It identifies the difference between general website information and an agreed, checked scope of work.
External links lead to services controlled by others. Zunbik does not control their availability or content. The platform privacy links are provided so you can understand those services' handling of data, not as a warranty of their performance.
Abuse can close a contact route.
Zunbik can restrict website or chat access to address misuse, security risks or unlawful conduct.
Access can be refused or withdrawn where submissions are abusive, automated in a disruptive way or made to gain unauthorized access. Restrictions can also be needed while a technical fault is addressed. There is no promise of uninterrupted availability, and a chat window is not a guaranteed immediate response channel.
The workshop can decline a proposed job before acceptance when the scope is outside its service or the conditions cannot be responsibly established. This is different from ending an accepted order. An accepted order, including cancellation rights and outstanding obligations, remains governed by its written agreement and applicable law.
A restriction on website access does not prevent a legitimate privacy request or extinguish rights relating to existing work. Use [email protected] or the postal contact below if a form cannot be used. For access barriers rather than misuse, the accessibility section gives a direct reporting route.
Texas law governs these terms.
These terms are governed by the law of Texas, United States, with disputes heard in the courts of Austin.
That choice is subject to mandatory law and any consumer rights that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing here requires you to give up a court or remedy that applicable law guarantees. These terms do not impose arbitration or require you to waive a statutory complaint route.
If there is a dispute, send a clear account of the issue and identify the page, enquiry or written scope involved. Include a way to reply. Contacting the workshop first can help identify an incorrect dimension, a misunderstood scope or a website error, but is not a condition for exercising a legal right.
Privacy rights have their own legal context. US state privacy law applies, including California's CCPA/CPRA and other state laws in force. The privacy notice includes GDPR information for visitors from Europe and the route for data requests. You may complain to your state Attorney General and, in California, to the California Privacy Protection Agency.
A revision gets a new date here.
Changes to these site terms are announced by publishing the revised text and updating the effective date at the top of this page.
Read the version available when you use the website or send a new enquiry. A revision can reflect a change to the site's functions or a legal requirement. If a change needs further notice or a fresh agreement under applicable law, that requirement still applies.
A website revision does not silently rewrite a scope already accepted for physical work. Changes to that job must follow the written agreement and any applicable legal requirements. Keep the accepted scope and related correspondence rather than relying on a service page to preserve the details of your order.
The cookie statement and privacy notice have their own effective dates. A revision to these terms is not new consent to advertising storage, nor does it replace the separate controls for withdrawing that consent.
Ask before a scope is accepted.
Send a terms question to Zunbik with the relevant clause or written scope so the issue can be addressed directly.
For a question about a price basis, identify the proposed piece and the part of the scope that is unclear. For a website issue, include the page address and what happened. Avoid sending another person's private details or confidential documents that are not needed to explain the question.
